Dhanush's 'Maari' is a wholesome entertainer

The title of director Balaji Mohan���s next film and the first look of actor Dhanush in it are both out! Says director Balaji Mohan, ���The title of the film is Maari and yes, that is the name of Dhanush���s character in my film. We have been shooting for it for the last four days in the city.���
While the film has music by Anirudh, the camera is being handled by Om Prakash.���Kajal Agarwal plays the heroine in the film. However, it is too early to disclose anything about either her character in the film or that of Dhanush. All that I can say about the film at this point in time is that this will be a wholesome entertainer that will be completely different from my earlier films, both of which had generous doses of comedy in them,��� the director says.
Balaji is known to complete his films in exceptionally short periods of time. While he took just 35 days to shoot both the Tamil and Telugu versions of his Kaadhalil Sodhapuvadu Eppadi, he finished Vaayai Moodi Pesavum in 55 days. Ask him when fans can expect the release of Maari and he says, ���It is scheduled for a summer release, next year.���
